The acetylene gas cylinder must be equipped with a special pressure reducer and a flashback preventer when it is in use. It must be checked whether it is easy to use before work, otherwise it is prohibited to use it. When opening, the operator should stand behind the valve, and the action should be gentle. The phenomenon that the tooth angle is less than 55° because the tooth angle error is greater than its tolerance specification;

 

The cylinder of the shot blasting machine for the inner wall of the cylinder should not be close to the heat source and electrical equipment. In summer, shading measures should be taken to prevent exposure to the sun.

When the work place moves frequently, it should be installed on a special trolley, and the acetylene and oxygen cylinders should be avoided together.

 

It is strictly forbidden to contact copper, silver, mercury, etc. and their products with acetylene. The copper alloy utensils in contact with acetylene must contain more than 70% copper.

 

The gas in the bottle is strictly prohibited, and there must be no less than 0.05Mpa residual pressure.

 

When transporting acetylene bottles by car and trolley, they should be lightly loaded and unloaded. Throwing, sliding, rolling and touching are strictly prohibited. When hoisting and handling, special fixtures and rain-proof transport vehicles should be used, and cranes and chain hoists are strictly prohibited for hoisting and handling.

 

Flat teeth. A thread defect in which the height of the tooth crest is less than the height of the tooth base;

 

Tooth double line. Threads with annular groove-like defects at the top of the thread profile;

 

Teeth flat. At the bottom diameter of the thread, the bottom height is less than the top height of a thread defect;

Teeth wide. Phenomenon with a profile angle greater than 55°; n Obvious runout ripples on the thread surface. Refers to thread defects whose surface roughness exceeds the specified value.

 

Threads with the above-mentioned defects can be screwed together if the bottle valve is forcibly assembled. However, because the bottle valve is made of brass, sometimes after screwing, the harder thread of the bottle mouth will damage the thread of the softer bottle valve, and the copper chips will be unscrewed. At this time, the load on the tooth surface may be concentrated on a pitch line where the contact point is located. Due to the uneven load distribution on the tooth surface, it is easy to cause the bottle valve to fly out.
